Just so you know I have not stopped, I have just posted an article on the sun
post process shader I did for the Blacksun engine. This implementation was done
in XNA 4.0 CTP so it's a bit limited, but it should get you going.

The editor seems to have killed my text formatting, so hope you can read it OK.
If not hang on a little while longer and I will start to post it with the other
bits of Blacksun here once we get the full release of XNA 4.0
